Health Protocol for overseas Travel specifically entry to Bali, Batam, and Bintan 8th March 2022

COVID-19 HANDLING TASK UNIT
CIRCULAR LETTER NUMBER 13 OF 2022 CONCERNING
HEALTH PROTOCOL FOR OVERSEAS TRAVEL PERFORMERS SPECIFICALLY THE ENTRY TO BALI, BATAM,
AND BINTAN IN THE CORONA VIRUS DISEASE PANDEMIC TIME 2019 (COVID-19)

  1. Special Traveller Bali can enter the Bali area through the following entry points:
    1. I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar, Bali
    2. Tanjung Benoa Harbor, Bali
  2. Special Traveller Batam and Bintan can enter the Batam area via entry points as follows:
    1. Hang Nadim International Airport in Batam, Riau Islands
    2. Batam Harbor, Riau Islands.
  3. Special Traveller Batam and Bintan can enter the Bintan area via entry points as follows:
    1. Raja Haji Fisabilillah Airport in Tanjung Pinang, Riau Islands
    2. Bintan Harbor, Riau Islands
    3. Tanjung Pinang Harbor, Riau Islands.
  4. Upon arrival at the entry point :
    1. Comply with the provisions of the health protocol set by the Government
    2. Have downloaded the PeduliLindung application and filled out the Indonesian e-HAC
    3. Card/certificate (physical or digital) has received the second dose of COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 (fourteen) days before departure written in English and verified on the website of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia or e-HAC International Indonesia
    4. RT-PCR test taken within a maximum period of 2 x 24 hours before departure
    5. Proof of confirmation of booking and payment of tour packages or lodging accommodations for a minimum of 4 (four) days in Bali
    6. Proof of confirmation of booking and payment of tour packages in Batam and Bintan
    7. Accommodation including hotels used by Traveller Special Bali, Batam, and Bintan, except for Traveller who are people domiciled in Bali, Batam, and Bintan, must obtain recommendations from the Task Force for Handling COVID-19 and the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, based on a proposal from the Regional COVID-19 Task Force that has met the terms and conditions of the Indonesian Hotel and Restaurant Association for cleanliness, health, safety, and environmental sustainability (CHSE) or Quarantine hotel.
  5. For Special Traveller Bali, Batam, and Bintan who are people domiciled in Bali, Batam, and Bintan are required to show proof of identity card or Indonesian Identity Card (KTP) domiciled in Bali, Batam, and Bintan
  6. Show proof of health insurance which includes financing for handling COVID-19 and medical evacuation to a referral hospital with a minimum coverage value equivalent to SGD 20,000
  7. After RT-PCR upon arrival, the Bali, Batam, and Bintan Special Traveller continued with:
    • Inspection of immigration documents and customs documents
    • Baggage collection and baggage disinfection

iii. pick-up and drop-off directly to the hotel, lodging accommodation, or place  of residence;

  1. Waiting for the results of the RT-PCR in hotel rooms, rooms at lodging accommodations, or places of residence
  2. It is not allowed to leave the hotel room or accommodation room before the RT-PCR test results show a negative result.
  3. Special Traveller for Bali, Batam, and Bintan are required to doing another RT-PCR on the 3rd day after arrival in Bali, Batam, and Bintan, then are allowed to continue activities by implementing strict health protocols after showing negative results
  4. Special Traveller for Bali, Batam, and Bintan, may leave the Bali, Batam, and Bintan areas by following the terms/conditions:
  5. For the Bali Special Traveller able to leave Bali area after getting a second negative RT-PCR result in Indonesia and has been in Bali for a minimum of 4 (four) days
  6. For Batam and Bintan Special Traveller able to leave the Batam and Bintan areas after getting a second negative RT-PCR result in Indonesia
  7. Comply with health protocols and requirements for overseas travelers in the destination country/region
  8. Comply with health protocols and domestic travel requirements in the destination area/region.
