What type of information is collected from you?
We only collect the information that the Indonesian government and Immigration require to submit the visa application or provide a requested service. The personal information that we collect is determined by the Indonesian government and Immigration and is dependent on what type of visa you are applying for.
Some examples of the types of data that may be collected:
- Personal data
Such as name, national identity number, nationality, gender, details of your travel document (e.g. passport or ID), email address, telephone number and postal address, place & date of birth.
- Sensitive Personal data
Religion, marital status, health-related information, and Biometric data, such as Fingerprints, Photographs & Vaccinations.
- Third persons
Children, parent's name, spouse name, employers’ details, someone who gives a personal reference, address you are staying at your destination.
- Communication data
Contact details, emails, mobile phone number.
- Payments data
Payment card details, bank account details.
- Electronic media data
CCTV images, video & audio recordings, and website cookies (see below).
When do we collect information?
We collect information from you when you place an order, subscribe to a newsletter, fill out a form or enter information on our site, make an appointment, and filling the visa application form.
When do we collect Documents?
We collect documents when you submit your application and upload your document to complete your application.
How do we use your information Document?
We may use the information and Documents we collect from you when you fill the visa application form and upload your documents to complete your submission, sign up for our newsletter, or use certain other site features in the following ways:
- To quickly process your transactions.
- To quickly process your visa application.
- To send periodic emails regarding your order or application services.
- To follow up with them after correspondence (chat, email, or phone inquiries)
How long do we hold on to your data?
We review our retention periods for personal information regularly. We are legally required to hold some types of information to fulfill our statutory obligations (for example; invoices for taxation legislation). We will hold your personal information on our systems only for the minimum time as is necessary for the relevant activity as mandated by the Indonesian government.
The visa application data that we collect will not be copied or retained by Bali Visas. Any other paper, hard copies, forms, or other records containing personal information will be destroyed by a secure process within thirty (30) days
Some of your personal information may be retained in electronic form. This is to assist you should you contact us with follow-up questions.
Who has access to your information?
We will not disclose your personal information to third parties without your consent. We may share your personal information with companies belonging to Bali Visas where it is necessary for the processing of your requests or to deliver an additional service you have requested, for example; if you asked us to deliver your travel document to your home or office, or to carry verification procedures or in the prevention of crime.
We will not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes unless you have explicitly consented. You can withdraw this consent at any time by updating your account preferences on-line where applicable or by contacting our Customer Service whose details you will be given when you make an application.
Third-Party Service Providers working on our behalf
We may pass your information to our third-party service providers, agents subcontractors, and other associated organizations to complete tasks and provide services to you on our behalf (for example to process payments or deliver your visa to you by courier). However, when we use third-party service providers, we disclose only the personal information that is necessary to provide the service and we have a contract in place that requires them to keep your information secure and not to use it for their direct marketing purposes. Please be reassured that we will not release your information to third parties beyond Bali Visas for them to use for their direct marketing purposes unless you have permitted us to do so.
How do we protect your information?
Our website is scanned regularly for security holes and known vulnerabilities to make your visit to our site as safe as possible.
We use regular Malware Scanning.
We use secure Cloud-based document storage to store and protect your documents.
Your personal information is contained behind secured networks. In addition, all sensitive/credit information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.
We implement a variety of security measures when a user places an order enters, submits, or accesses their information to maintain the safety of your personal information.
All transactions are processed through a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on our servers.
Do we use ‘cookies’?
