How to apply for and the benefits of a Working KITAS


If you are going to work or obtain income in Indonesia, you must have a working visa. A work visa or ‘KITAS’, allows foreign citizens to work legally and officially in the country. You cannot work or make money in Indonesia without a work permit.

Offshore Working KITAS


IDR 15.500.000


Valid for 6 Months or 1 Year.


Includes :

Multiple entry permit and sponsorship if needed.

Does not include :

$100 USD per month for IMTA (Work Permit).

$150 USD Indonesia visa application fee.

PayPal 5% fee.

Additional cost at IDR 1.000.000 to apply personal Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP)

 

Documents Required
  • Scanned copy of Passport full page 1 (Identity Page) and cover (No photos & in color)
  • Passport valid for at least 18 months and minimum 2 blank pages.
  • Address in Original Country.
  • Address in Bali (hotel/villa).
  • Domicile Letter Address in Bali (if any) or Lease Agreement Letter.
  • Photo with red background.
  • Personal Phone number & Email.
  • CV (Curriculum Vitae).
  • Certificate of Degree Graduated or Expertise.
  • Working Activity Area in Indonesia
  • Working Title / Position.
  • Offshore application – Full dose Vaccine Certificate required.
  • Criminal record from Origin Country (offshore application).
  • Emergency Contact Person (family members) Address & Phone Number.
Processing Time
  • Up to 60 business days for processing in Indonesia.
  • There is an option for 30 business days express service for additional fees.
  • e-Visa Express Fee (IDR.2.000.000)
  • e-Kitas Express Fee (IDR.2.000.000)
Process
  • Reporting to The Labor Department
  • RPTKA (Approval of Plan for using foreign employee)
  • IMTA (Working Permit)
  • E-Visa
  • Convert E-Visa to KITAS at Local immigration
Renewal
  • Renewal is required every year for the same cost. You do not need to fly out of the country to apply for the visa at an Indonesian Embassy or incur the Embassy visa application fee.
  • Renewal needs to be processed a minimum of 1 month before your Kitas Expires.
After you receive the E-Visa (Offshore Application)
  • Step 1: Please print out the sponsorship and E-Visa for entering Indonesia.
  • Step 2: Upon arrival in Indonesia, you will need to present us with your passport within 30 days. We will then take it to the local immigration office for final approval. You will also be required to appear at Immigration for the Biometrics process.
If foreigners have their own sponsors Company Sponsor Documents
  • Company deed of establishment and its amendments (if any).
  • Approval from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (MoLHR) of company sponsor / SK Kehakiman Pendirian Perusahaan dan Perubahannya (if any)
  • Tax Registration Number (NPWP) of company sponsor
  • NIB (Business Registration Number) – OSS (Online Submission System)
  • Ijin Lokasi (Location Permit) – OSS (Online Submission System)
  • Ijin Usaha (Business License) – OSS (Online Submission System)
  • BPJS Kesehatan – BPJS Ketenagakerjaan (OSS)
  • ID Card (KTP) and Family Register (KK) of the Indonesian Director of company sponsor as Guarantor, or passport of foreign Director.
  • Blank papers with the company’s letterhead and Company Stamp.
EPO Cancelation
  • If are not continuing or extending your Kitas you need to process an EPO at a Cost of IDR.1.000.000

Payment methods

  We accept PAYPAL (5% Fee and using our fixed rate). Paypal is a third-party payment method.

  We accept Direct payments at the Bali Visas Office.

We will process your application once the funds are cleared in our account.

Please be aware that international bank transfers can take up to 5 business days to clear in Bali.

Note

  • All clients are responsible for their own income tax report fees and processing of NPWP (Tax file number) and the fees for this.
  • Clients are also responsible for BPJS (health and work insurance) fees.
  • All clients are also responsible for any financial and criminal activities inside Indonesia.
  • Payments can be made via PayPal or Bank Transfer.
  • Prices are as per the date on document.
  • Processing will begin once funds have cleared in our account.
